Battery safety for rechargeable table lamp
Battery for rechargeable table lamp is very important. Which related with the safety. If use poor quality product. No certificate, no test, will leave risk. We have heart that, the battery product explosive or fired. Here our rebecca lighting will share how to analyse the battery quality depend on our experience.
Firstly should have basic certificate. Like MSDS, UN36.3. If have CE, RoHs, CB etc, will be better.
Our rebecca lighting choose have more certificate like CE, RoHs, CB. Which mean this battery better.
Secondly, battery should have complete test.
A single battery requires a full suite of tests, including voltage test, high-temperature test, capacity fade test and short-circuit test.
Voltage test: Verify whether the terminal voltage falls within the standard range.
High-temperature test: Expose the battery to a high-temperature environment for a set duration, then check its working status and potential explosion risks.
Capacity fade test: Simulate real discharge cycles to confirm if capacity loss during operation stays within acceptable limits.
Short-circuit test: Create an intentional short-circuit connection to inspect for abnormal ignition, fire or explosion hazards.
Simplified Bullet Summary (for test report)
Voltage Test: Check if the two-terminal voltage is normal.

High-Temperature Test: Assess explosion risks under high-temperature conditions.

Capacity Fade Test: Measure whether capacity attenuation per unit time meets specifications.

Short-Circuit Test: Check for fire or explosion triggered by short circuit.

What's more the construction should with Explosion-proof Fuse.
This accessory is installed on both terminals of the battery to prevent the battery from exploding.
