How To Prolong Rechargeable Table Lamp Life Time

A rechargeable table lamp consists of a lamp body and a light source. Our rechargeable table lamps all use LED light sources, and lifetime can reach 50,000hrs. The core of the lamp body is the internal circuit design and the cycle life of the built-in lithium battery.

The internal circuit PCB board part is one of the most confident parts of Rebecca Lighting. Our electrical part - control IC adopts a brand solution with built-in anti-overshoot and overdischarge protection programs, anti-shake, anti-false touch, anti-leakage, anti-static and anti-leakage protection programs. This is the inner side of the lamp cannot be seen by the customer, but they keep the table lamp in a more stable situation and longer lifetime.

The lifetime of a rechargeable table lamp, under normal use, depends largely on the life of the built-in lithium battery (or the cycle life of the lithium battery).

The cycle life of a lithium battery refers to the number of charge and discharge times that a battery can experience after multiple full charge and discharge cycles under specified charge and discharge conditions, and the capacity or performance of the battery drops to a certain specified percentage of the initial value. Specifically, the end of a battery cycle life is usually defined as the battery capacity decaying to 80% of the initial value.

Two factors that affect the cycle of lithium batteries:

Discharge depth: The shallower the discharge depth, the longer the battery cycle life. Therefore, we recommend that you start charging after the light becomes significantly dimmer. At this time, the battery is not completely released, so it does not belong to a cycle. Such use can maximize the protection of the battery life.

Charge and discharge conditions: The larger the charging current (the faster the charging rate), the shorter the cycle life. Our standard input voltage for table lamps is DC5V1A. Not more than DC5V2A.

All our rechargeable table lamp battery adopt A core with a capacity of 2600mA and CE certification lithium battery, which reaches 80% of the original capacity after reaching the standard of 300 charges and discharges. This standard is fully sufficient for rechargeable table lamps. Of course, if customers have higher requirements, we also support customized 500 or higher recycles.
